Monthly committee meeting
Agenda:
A representative from the Virginia Department of Transportation will be providing a general overview on the status of the Route 7 Widening Project (Jarrett Valley to Reston Avenue) as well as addressing the following issues:
- Storm water management plans, including what work has been done on determining more exact locations for retention ponds, access to these ponds, and eminent domain issues.
- What right-of-way acquisition will be done.
- Status of VDOT’s response to neighborhood/HOA feedback on the proposed plans for Route 7, and specifically GFCA’s letter dated 16 December 2014.
- Which neighborhoods/HOAs VDOT has met with since fall 2014.
- Status of funding and plans for sequencing the overall project.
In addition, the Route 7/Georgetown Pike intersection currently under construction will be discussed.
